Inner West Light
MARRICKVILLE
An alteration and addition to a semi-detached home in Marrickville which opens the ground level to the rear yard using a dramatic cathedral ceiling, and adds a second level to accommodate four bedroom over two levels. Once dark and confined, the house opens to the north with ample light and ventilation. Designed under dhw.
Contemporary Mediterranean
Eastern Suburbs, Sydney
An alteration and addition to a large 1980s home in Bellevue Hill aimed at improving the thermal comfort, and lift the dated aesthetic. The design opened the home to the north sunlight, and rear yard, and focused on a contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic. Design by dhw design.
Same footprint, New look
Inner West, Sydney
An alteration using the existing footprint, and changing as few internal partitions as possible to reduce costs, while adding windows to increase natural light and ventilation, and increasing internal openings to improve flow and function.
